Just got back from a walk and I saw a new bird, and two other birds that I'm already familiar with. I'll talk about the new bird first. I saw what looked to be a White Ibis that was black. I did some research and found out that it was actually a Straw Necked Ibis, which has metallic black feathers. I saw this Ibis hanging around the White Ibises, and that's apparently normal for their species to hang around other types of Ibises. I didn't know there were Ibises that were black, so I was happily surprised to see a different species that looked rather different.
The other birds I saw were a breeding pair of Easern Rosellas which were engaging in courtship behaviours, such as regurgitating and feeding one another, and one of them was playfully hopping near the other one a few times.
