I have a cut over my thumb pad, so I write this with physical pain. I will make this quick. Saw a bunch of birds today while searching for Jerry. Most notable: A Pied Currawong fighting in the air with another Magpie or another Currawong, two Galahs kept as pets in the most pitiful “aviary” I’ve ever seen (wild native birds should NOT be kept as pets under any circumstances), and two Masked Lapwings being predated on by a Brown Goshawk. Cool birds. Shame my day was spent searching for a missing and injured cat, filling my day with anxiety. Maybe I should go on walks specifically to see more birds. I think it could be fun.
