Haven’t made an entry in a while since I haven’t seen much regarding birds. It is winter, after all. I’ve mostly seen the Magpies and Torresian Crows, but I do still see all the other birds such as the Corellas, Rainbow Lorikeets, Red Wattlebirds, etc. I haven’t seen the Blue-faced Honeyeaters though. I believe they may have migrated. I also actually got to hear and see a Double-barred Finch for myself in real life recently, instead of just in a video. I’ve also seen a few White Ibises since I saw them flying into town a while back.
I likely won’t be seeing much interesting bird activity until spring. I’ve also heard the Yellow-tufted Honeyeater quite a bit but I still have yet to see it. It is so elusive, it’s almost annoying. I swear one day I’ll get to see it with my eyes!
